The astrology of September is…BANANAS. This month brings us a whole SIX planetary ingresses, a superior Mercury cazimi (domicile and exalted in Virgo, no less), an autumn equinox (bringing us into Libra season)…oh yeah, and our second eclipse season of 2025, our first eclipse season that takes place entirely across the Virgo-Pisces axis since this series started a year ago. No big deal.

It’s finally here…part 2 of your guide to the astrology of 2025! In this episode we take an in-depth look at the big picture—the greater cycles and historical patterns that 2025 is tied to through the cycles and rhythms of the outer planets. In 2025 ALL THREE outer planets will be in new signs (yes, technically Pluto will have already been in Aquarius, but that final ingress was within a year of Neptune and Uranus changing signs!). The last time all three outer planets changed signs within a year of each other was 1737, so it’s definitely no common occurrence.
In this episode I dive into each of the outer planets and what they’re doing in 2025, looking at historical parallels to previous eras of Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune in Aries, and Uranus in Gemini, as well as connections to greater cycles between planets, such as Neptune-Saturn cycles and Pluto-Uranus cycles. Welcome to eclipse season! This week we open up an entirely new series of eclipses on the Virgo-Pisces axis, kicking of with a lunar eclipse in Pisces. This week also brings us to the final opposition between the Sun and Neptune on the Virgo-Pisces axis, an opposition we’ve experienced every Virgo season since 2012! On Venus in Virgo and a new moon in Leo
This week Venus finishes of its journey through Leo, re-making the connections that colored last year’s Venus retrograde experience, we come to the new moon in Leo, a time to gently remind ourselves what sits at the heart of the matter, and Venus makes its way into Virgo, which means we might have to work a little harder to tame our inner critic and we’d do well to remind ourselves that pleasure can exist for the sake of pleasure.
