In Part 2 of The State of the Church, we continue our deep dive into Matthew 23 and the reality of spiritual abuse in today’s Church. This episode unpacks the painful aftermath of hurt within the Body of Christ — the distrust of pastors and prophets, the struggle to separate God’s true character from human failings, and the temptation to walk away from faith altogether.
But it doesn’t end there. We also explore why the Church is still necessary: as a family, a place of healing, and a source of God-given purpose. Together, we’ll reflect on Jesus’s call to those wounded by the Church, His invitation to healing, and His vision for humility, service, and the building of a true, Christ-centered community.
This episode is both a warning and a comfort: a warning not to let the wickedness of men lead us astray, and a comfort that Jesus still sees, still calls, and is still restoring His Church.
And it's a wrap for Season Two. Stay tuned for Season Three coming soon. We love you family and thank you for rocking with us. God bless. 😌❤️🥂
In this episode, we dive into one of the most sobering passages in Scripture — Matthew 23 — and reflect on what it reveals about the current state of the Church. Jesus once confronted the Pharisees for their hypocrisy, pride, and misuse of God’s Word, and today we see the same patterns repeating in spiritual abuse, legalism, and unhealthy leadership.
Many believers have walked away from the Church — not because they stopped believing in God, but because they were deeply wounded by those who claimed to represent Him. In this conversation, we expose the reality of spiritual abuse, explore how it impacts faith and community, and remind ourselves of this truth: the failures of men do not change the perfection of God’s Word or the love of Christ.
If you’ve been hurt by the church, this episode is for you. Jesus sees you, He understands your pain, and He invites you back into His arms — not to religion, but to relationship. ✨

In this episode, I get real raw and vulnerable about my own struggle with desires that don’t always align with God’s will — and the faith it takes to lay them down.
Inspired by James 1:14–17, we’ll explore how our unsurrendered desires often open the door to temptation and sin, not because God or the devil forces our hand, but because we let our own longings lead us astray.
Like Eve, who gazed at what looked good instead of gazing at the One who is good, we too can be deceived when we fix our eyes on things that corrupt our hearts. I share why it’s so important to trade our corrupt desires for God’s good and perfect ones, trusting Him to purify what we want so our lives can bear fruit that leads to life, not death.
May this episode encourage you to ask: Where or what am I gazing at? What desires need to be surrendered? And remind you — surrender is never loss with God. It’s an invitation to receive what is truly pure, good, and right in His eyes.
Kindly share with someone who you think needs to hear this message so they can be blessed too. ☺️💐

"Death is the end... yet in every situation, death is the way to life." – John Stott, The Radical Disciple
In this soul-stirring episode, we confront one of the most profound paradoxes of the Christian faith: death as the doorway to life. Drawing from John Stott’s powerful reflection in The Radical Disciple, we explore the two kinds of death every believer must face—the death of self through daily surrender, and the physical death we all must one day meet.
I share my personal journey through grief and what it means to truly "grieve with hope." Why is it so hard sometimes? Why does it matter so deeply to me that those I love—and even those I don’t know—come to faith in Christ?
We reflect on the words of Paul: “To live is Christ, and to die is gain.” What gave him such boldness? And how can we, too, embrace that same faith-filled perspective?
If you’ve ever wrestled with fear, grief, or uncertainty around death, or wondered what it means to die daily and live eternally, this episode is for you.
Because the greatest hope of the believer is this: to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

How kind of God to give us His Spirit to constantly remind us of who we are. Conviction from Holy Spirit is just a way of God reminding us that we are His sons and daughters, and by reason of that, we live differently. Our identity changes and transforms the way that we live, speak, walk, think act and conduct ourselves. It is a daily reminder to live above the flesh and embrace the life of the Spirit. Conviction is always an invitation for introspection with the Lord. It is never meant to condemn, but always to correct, redeem, heal and restore.
Thank God for the the love gift of Conviction!!! ☺️🤍🙏🏾🙌🏾

"THE FAITH TO MOVE ON" is quite special and close to my heart. It's a call to get up out of the wilderness, a journey that was meant for 40 days but has turned out to be 40 years. It's a cry of the Father to heal and free His children from the past pains, hurts, heartbreaks, traumas and into the promised peace and healing that He offers.
God is calling us to come to Him with our pain, doubt, anger, lost expectations and wrestle with them in prayer to Him. He doesn't want you to ignore and move on as if nothing happened, but He wants you to take the first step of addressing and wrestling with them with Him in prayer. And I pray that we respond to His invitation.
May we all heal in Jesus name. 🥹🤍🤍

WELCOME BACK EVERYONE!!! ☺️🔥🙌🏾
Thank you for joining me for yet another powerful and power-packed season!!
I pray that the Lord would use this season to make you fall in love with His word. I pray that the Lord would bless you and cause whatever is being said here to push you to spend more time with Him, in prayer asking Him to help you and grant you the FAITH TO SEE BEYOND the pain, trauma, hurt, heartbreak, loss, abuse and whatever it is that you might have gone through in life. Always remember that He is causing it all to work for your good. And always remember that the goal is that you become like Him and sometimes while He's doing that, you will need that seeing beyond kinda faith.
