How's your adult friendships doing? Are they beautiful and fulfilling? Empty and frustrating? Or is it... complicated?

Whatever your experience, in today's confession, we talk about the general state of adult friendships between men and women, some awkward critiques on both, and what we could do to appraise and improve our connections with the people we call friends - have a seat!

INTERLUDE: I Don't Want to Date Emotionally Unavailable Women Anymore

One of my biggest pivots is currently moving from a state of limerence, to learning real, healthy and wholesome love in romance.

This is another one of those episodes: no script, no mic, no edits, just my thoughts out loud in real time.

Take the answer from somebody who’s experienced both sides: there’s a beautiful, miserable art to living alone, you surely don’t get one without experiencing the other, and in today’s episode, we’re gonna talk about that and the importance of rooting yourself in community.

Sexual Freedom is a Dirty Lie

If I cannot control my urges to be sexual with someone, or publish explicit content of myself, then I AM NOT FREE... I am bound by my own desires.

But of coarse! The sexual "liberation" crowd would rather have me believe that this is freedom. In today's episode, I make a confession arguing against this growing belief, and why it its actually a dirty lie.

The Problems With Child Stars in Hollywood

There tend to be some problems around child stars that make me question whether or not we should even be supporting them as a society.

Unfortunately, it’s not just music and entertainment. There are more important, more pressing issues we need to pay closer attention to, and in today’s confession we do just that, using old boy band Mindless Behaviour as an example.

INTERLUDE: This Is An Episode About Creative Burnout

I’ve recently been experiencing some creative burn-out.

This has obviously meant that my productivity, particularly as it relates to my writing; tweeting or recording, has absolutely crashed so… I COME BAACK! And, what better place to start a conversation than to speak, in short, about how my experience affected me, and the simple solution myself and many others tend to overlook.

How Do You Respond to Homeless People?

Do we give whatever we can every time? Is their unfamiliarity too big a risk to even try to engage them? Are we more convinced by their efforts to survive more than their begging? And even if we do help, how far does helping truly go? Should that even matter?

Whatever your context, I am sure that you have encountered a homeless people problem. So join me in this latest confession, as I introspect my thoughts around the topic, and be sure to share your own thoughts below!

INTERLUDE: Consider Those Who Are Still Healing in Love

For those who will avoid Valentine's Day, those who have grown to reject it and those who may honestly want to have someone to embrace today but will be without, for reasons within and beyond their control:

I see you. And my heart is with you.

- Affectionately,

Mike Todd Concerns Me...But He's Not A False Teacher

Mike Todd, the lead Pastor of Transformation Church, has been making one too many headlines in Christian media.

Personally, I love the man so I've been rightly concerned, but in today's top-of-the-head episode, I explain why none of my concerns warrant labelling him a false teacher. Believers and non-believers are welcome to listen to this, as it's sure to ignite a thoughtful conversation.
