Season 3 is here! The boys are back with some exciting new episodes. It's Christmas and Rory's beside himself with excitement over the imminent arrival of the "Jolly fat one" (Not Bob but Santa) , while Bob is in full humbug mode hiding in Africa. In this train wreck finale to a twisted tale. Rory is still fuming, so in a well-intentioned but ultimately futile attempt to cheer him up, Rob sends an email recounting his own so-called heroic efforts of stumbling around inside a derailed train, frantically trying to save anyone he could find.
Predictably, this backfires spectacularly, plunging Rory even deeper into trouble with the higher-ups. Cornered and facing impossible odds in a web of treacherous power plays, Rory faces a crucial choice: play the game just one more time , or tell the truth...

Rory, ever the master of subtlety, goes on an unhinged tirade to anyone within earshot. He rants about being promoted, demoted, convicted, evicted, and eventually banished to purgatory, left to contemplate his life, failing career, and, worst of all, his new daily routine—driving 80 miles, day and night, in Bob’s dad’s old Citroën Xantia.
In a cover-up scandal reminiscent of Trump and Stormy Daniels, Rory becomes notorious throughout the force as "the phone guy," proving British Telecom’s old mascot Buzby's famous catchphrase, "It's good to talk," very, very wrong.
But all is not lost. Rory unexpectedly finds love in a strange place, while Bob, well, Bob finds more ice cream.
The next two episodes see the boys take a deep breath and retell a truly staggering story, rivaling any recent Netflix true crime shocker. If true, it raises profound and difficult questions about Police Scotland, the Scottish judicial system, and how they treat those sworn to protect life and uphold the law.
But don’t worry, it’s just another “ truth “according to Bob Moon and Rory MacRae and no one believes them anyway.
Part one of "The Truth" introduces the tragic tale of four men drowning in one of Scotland's largest and most forbidding lochs. The aftermath forces Rory to confront astonishing police incompetence, cost cutting and corruption as he fights desperately to save his job, reputation, and sanity.
This latest episode of "Code 21" comes from Bob's house, in the spectacular shadow of Edinburgh Castle. Here, in Bobs kitchen we find Rory hiding out from the authorities after taking matters into his own hands when he observed a suspicious man lurking around his daughter’s schoolyard.

Rory’s confusion inevitably prompts the boys to reflect on their own understandings of pride and how it was rigorously instilled in police officers during the 1990s.
