We wrap up the latest Chin arc with our return to Xena coverage, and between forcefield powers, red beams of energy, and the ability to turn things into stone, we're starting to wonder if this show is losing sight of what made it successful. But then, in part two, Xena inhabits the body of a young girl and helps her navigate grief, and you know we're right back on board! Pay no mind to the uh...questionable Gabrielle/Aphrodite whacky sex comedy B plot.

Possessed by the spirits of good and evil, Magellan and Allen take it upon themselves to recap, review, and re-litigate another half-season of DS9! This time, Sisko isn't getting the same kind of help from the Prophets, so it's up to a...Rat Pack hologram man to help our friends fall in love, save the day, and play the piano really well. Oh also there's like Dominion War stuff and a major character death and one of the MOST transphobic episodes of TV, sure. DS9 contains multitudes, even at the very tail end, and we'll hope you join us for the ride.

It's a shame that Terry Gilliam truly sucks these days, because Brazil holds up remarkably well. The ChatzKidz discuss how prescient it is, the sagging second act, and the ongoing trend of us covering thought-provoking sci-fi on the podcast! Come to Brazil with us, won't you?
