Essential Prayer | The Essentials - Part 2
As we tackle the essentials of Christian growth, "prayer" is the first on our list to help us mature in knowing God better and trusting Him more. Still keeping in mind the maturing mindset of asking ourselves the questions "Where am I at?" and "Which way forward from here?", prayer helps us to see where we are and how to take our next steps forward. Prayer helps deepen our love for God and love for others. Through the teachings of prayer, we see that it is essential to our lives as Christians and it helps us to walk like Jesus. - Key Verses // Philippians 4:6-7, Matthew 6:9-13 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive

Essential Maturity | The Essentials - Part 1
We start a new series this week, in which we go over the essentials of our Christian walks and how important they are to our spiritual growth. Answering the questions of "where am I?" and "which way forward from here?" when it comes to prayer, word, fellowship, witnessing and giving, helps challenge us to grow into the fullness of life that God has for us. Each of which will be discussed in the following weeks. This week, however, is about the "why" behind doing this. Its because to know God better and trust Him more, there are some essential elements that help our lives to flourish. Pastor Brandon shows us that the Holy Spirit will teach us the things that God, through salvation, has freely given us. We also learn that true growth is growing in loving God and loving others. Ultimately showing that maturing is essential to our lives in Jesus. - Key Verses // Ephesians 1:17, 4:15, Matthew 22:34-40 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive

The Simplest Equation | Pastor Weston Clark
Pastor Weston teaches us that the gospel is the simplest equation, and that it needed to be. The work we do is not our own and doesn't contribute to our salvation. Instead, salvation is simply believing and confessing. Proving that Jesus + Nothing = Freedom. - Key Verses // Romans 10:9-13, Luke 23:39-43 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive

Inside Out | Home Field Advantage - Part 7
We wrap up our "Home Field Advantage" series this week with learning that life outside of your home is impacted by what you do inside your home. Pastor Brandon teaches us today that God shapes the biggest part of our lives through the little things we do with him each day; and He shapes the world through the daily lives of his children. We don't have to worry about tiring out in the daily time we take with God either, as our hope in Jesus gives us the endurance we need to live this life at home. Ultimately, we learn that home is where the harvest is, because home is the center of spiritual growth. - Key Verses // John 15:4, Matthew 13:31-32 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive

We Love the Home Team | Home Field Advantage - Part 6
Entering part 6 of our "Home Field Advantage" series, we continue with our thought that, as we get to know God better and trust Him more, our biggest advantage happens at home. That "love thy neighbor" starts with the people you share a roof and heritage with. Pastor Brandon teaches us today that serving at home is a baseline for spiritual leadership and that you can love your family by being a servant leader. Loving and leading by meeting your family's practical needs, by sharing what God has done for you, and by letting them see your worship. Ultimately, serving begins at home. - Key verses // John 15:4, Matthew 20:25-28 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive

Inviting Home | Home Field Advantage - Part 5
Continuing to look at how the home is the center of spiritual growth, and how our biggest advantage from knowing God better and trusting Him more happens at home, we learn that worship plays a big role in inviting God into our homes. Pastor Brandon teaches us that worship keeps us focused on heavenly things, and how worship isn't just songs and singing, but is rather a heart posture in how we interact with the world. Worship reflects God's glory back on us, and God uses authentic worship to transform us. Through studying the scriptures we see that worship changes the atmosphere of our lives and ultimately it shows us that remembering the goodness of God in worship reconnects us with the goodness of God. - Key Verses // John 15:4, Acts 16:22-26 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive

Holy Home | Home Field Advantage - Part 4
How should home base be treated in the life of a Christian? We tackle that question in this series and we continue by establishing that our home should be a holy place. Home is the center of true spiritual growth, and if we keep this in mind then we should also know that discipleship begins at home. As Pastor Brandon teaches through the scriptures today we see that engaging with the presence of God at home can change things forever. We also need to keep in mind that the natural progression of opening up your home and making it the center of our spiritual growth leads to "sitting at the Lord's feet". Ultimately, we should treat home as holy, because it is. - Key Verses // 2 Timothy 1:5-6, 1 Samuel 6:10-12, Luke 10:38-42 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive

Home Team | Home Field Advantage - Part 3
We are covering the third base of our Home Field Advantage this week by talking about the Home Team, and what that means for us as Christians. As we journey through this series we establish each time, that as we get to know God better and trust Him more, the biggest advantage happens at home. As Pastor Brandon teaches from the Scriptures, we see that our first place of ministry is at home and to truly trust God in anything, He must come first. We are also encouraged that if following Jesus has a bumpy start in your home, that God is working for restoration and forgiveness. Ultimately, placing God first in our lives means loving the people He first placed in our lives. - Key Verses // Mark 5:18-20, 1 Timothy 3:1-4 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive

Home Field Challenge | Home Field Advantage - Part 2
Pastor Brandon leads us through the second part of our series "Home Field Advantage" by informing us that there is often times a challenge at the home field. There is a disadvantage because the home crowd can often be the tough crowd. And one of the toughest parts of our calling as Christians is to take those principles home. But Pastor Brandon encourages us today to not let being overlooked by others make you think you are being overlooked by God. As we take a look at David's life and Jesus' teachings in this message, we learn that we can trust in God's plan and be able to love those who don't understand. - Key Verses // Matthew 13:54-58, 1 Samuel 16:10-13 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive

The 12 Spies | The Classics Vol 4 - Part 6 | Pastor Weston Clark
Pastor Weston Clark wraps up our "The Classics Vol. 4" series by diving into the story of the 12 spies from Israel! Specifically looking at the faithfulness of Caleb and Joshua in the wilderness when tasked with scouting out the promised land. Their lives show us what it means to know God better and trust Him more. The truths we can cling to from this story are that we all have a great purpose full of God's promise, but we cant let our perspective dictate those promises. Instead, let God's promises dictate our perspective. Instead of focusing on the challenges our eyes see, focus on the promises the Lord has said. - Key Verses // Numbers 13:1-32, 14:20-30 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive

We are looking at another classic story of the Bible, David's Mighty Men! We believe that looking at the lives of David's Mighty Men shows us what it means to know God better and trust Him more. Specifically, we will be diving into the story of "The Three". Who faced trials in life that were, by our perspective, unwinnable; however, we know that what is impossible for man is possible with God! With God we can face impossible odds, we can stand our ground, and we can win in unfamiliar territory. Ultimately, with God, our story changes. - Key Verses // 2 Samuel 23:8-12 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive

King Saul | The Classics Vol 4 - Part 4
This week we take a look at the classic story of King Saul, the king appointed by the demand of the Israelite people. For years the Lord had been their one and only king, however, the Israelites saw that the other nations all had kings and so they demanded one as well. The Lord knew where it would lead but appointed a king anyway. Pastor Brandon guides us through this classic story of King Saul and we learn that trying to be like everyone else always causes problems, wanting something better than everybody else always causes problems, and trying to take things into your own hands always causes problems. Through this story we ultimately learn that anything but God's way is the wrong way. - Key Verses // 1 Samuel 8:19-20, 9:1-2, 10:1-24 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive

Joy Again | Philippians - Part 3
Our journey through Philippians this week reminds us that if you have lost joy or have grown tired, that our hope in Jesus bring us joy again and again. Through chapter three, Paul encourages us that we are not under the law anymore but are under love. We are not bound by our flesh but free to live life according to Christ's love for us and for others. That if there is anything to boast in, it isn't found in our flesh or accomplishments, but all in Christ and His work on this Earth and the cross. Pastor Brandon shows us through Paul's writings that you can keep keep having joy if we know Jesus and aim to keep knowing Him, keep growing closer to Him, and look ahead at where following Him is taking you. - Key Verses // Philippians 3 - For Sermon Notes, the Connect Card, and our other online resources: https://linktr.ee/Celebrationchurchlive
