In this episode we will be discussing the foundational story that started the rise of the LDS Church- The First Vision. Joseph Smith claimed to have been visited by God the Father and Jesus Christ in bodily form as a teenager. Jesus told Joseph to not join any churches, for they were all wrong and Joseph later went onto restore "the one true church" and founded the LDS Church. The only question is: Did this actually happen? We take a look into multiple First Vision accounts to see exactly what Smith was saying at the time. We added the video to show our sources. Stay tuned for the end to hear why we believe Jesus' resurrection is a significantly more reliable story to believe than Smith's vision.
