For some reason I've really been hammering it home with these 90s movies lately, it's just so fun to revisit movies I haven't seen in so long. This one is intense, Keanu is excellent in his second big-budget action flick after "Point Break". Well worth going back to.
I go back to yet another movie I hadn't seen since closer to 1993 when it premiered. This one tells the tale of a killer whale kept in captivity and the troubled young kid who bonds with the whale and goes to great lengths to save it.
I revisit the 1993 "true" story about a team of bobsledders from Jamaica who defied all odds to compete in the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, it had been decades since I last saw it.
On this episode, I cover a flick that was not particularly popular upon its release, but is a legitimate master-class in parodying popular biopics of musicians, especially “Walk the Line” and “Ray”.

Week 3 of my Christmas/Holiday episodes features the Arnold Schwarzenegger film where an objectively awful father puts off buying the only toy his son wants for Christmas until December 24th, when he finds out the massively popular action figure is sold out in stores.

The long-delayed follow-up to my season 1 audio episode on the first movie, I cover Home Alone 2, where through a series of truly bad parenting decisions a child is yet again accidentally separated from his entire family during the holidays.

In part 6/6 of our Trading Ratings series on Action/Adventure Sequels, the only “sequel” in the series that was released nearly 30 years after the first one, does it live up?
This time around I review a movie that was the brain-child of Mr. Dark Visuals himself, Tim Burton. It’s a musical, it’s claymation, it’s less than 80 minutes long, and it is certainly different.

Using AI, I converted and re-edited this old audio episode to the video fomat. The AI service I used flagged it because of aggressive adult language because this 47-minute children's claymation TV movie brings out the best in me.

In part 5/6 of our Trading Ratings series on Action/Adventure Sequels, a superhero follow-up so overloaded and terrible that it shut down the whole franchise and forced a whole disappointing reboot.
This time around I cover a star-studded flick based on the true story of how the Air Jordan basketball shoes came to be and all the difficulties in that process.

In part 4/6 of our Trading Ratings series on Action/Adventure Sequels, the dinosaur follow-up that was so disappointing for a myriad of reasons, especially considering Spielberg returned to direct.

In part 3/6 of our Trading Ratings series on Action/Adventure Sequels, the one sequel that had to be on this list no matter what. One classic cyborg to protect humanity’s future leader, another advanced liquid metal cyborg sent to destroy him.
I review a mid-90’s John Travolta movie about an average man who mysteriously develops super-intelligence and telekinesis among other abilities after seeing a strange flash of light one night in his small town.
