I keep seeing more and more on social media about men need to be more in their feminine. This is confusing men even more and taking them away from actually integrating more of their masculine which is where men get to focus. The problem is the lack of healthy integrated role models to demonstrate what that looks like.
So many men are actually stuck in what gets called feminine, they don't need more of it. You will embody the balance when you work on developing your stages of masculine that you've missed out on.
In this episode i speak with Jack Donovan who has been writing and speaking about Masculinity for over 10 years and has a great body of work in his books and essays. The most popular being.... The Way Of Men.
We touch on a few key points on masculinity in this episode, probably the most valuable pieces being the Masculinity Myths of Alphas and Betas, searching for approval of your Masculinity through women and how marketing plays to these myths to sell you shit.
Also the need for men to find a group to be a part of to cultivate and integrate their masculine character.
You can find Jack on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/starttheworld/ for links to all of his work.
In this episode i talk with Rainier Wylde, a teacher, author (book 'As you are' on amazon) mentor about masculine development, how most men miss out on initiations and rights of passage in todays world that leave men feeling lost, lacking purpose, deeper connection and intimacy with self.
