We've just released a new episode of "1000 Reasons for Feeling Awe," a truly thought-provoking conversation titled "Reason No. 9: The Awe of Death." I was fortunate to be joined by the distinguished Stephen Jenkinson, an author, teacher, and developer of the orphan wisdom method. Stephen's insights into the cultural relationship with death and our often-unexamined death phobia have transformed many perceptions, mine included. Listening to Stephen's perspective has given me a renewed understanding of the complex interplay between humanity and the vast forces that surround us. We're reminded that in the face of the ineffable, it's okay to feel overwhelmed, to feel small, or to feel terrified. But it's also possible to find solace, acceptance, and a profound sense of connection. The awe of death, as discussed with Stephen, brings forth a contemplation of life's mysteries, its fleeting nature, and our place in the grand tapestry of existence. This episode is not just a conversation. It's a journey—a deep dive into the heart of what it means to be human, to confront the unknown, and to find meaning in the face of overwhelming forces. I urge everyone to tune in and experience this transformative dialogue. It has been one of the most profound and captivating talks I've had in my life.

The newest episode of "1000 Reasons for Feeling Awe," titled "Reason No. 6: The Awe of Synchronicity," is now available for your listening pleasure.
I had an enlightening conversation with Amrit Sandhu, who beautifully articulated his experiences with awe-inspiring synchronicities. His journey reveals how the universe can affirm our paths, invoking awe through the subtlest of signs.
Amrit delves deep into the understanding of how our thinking mind often misinterprets the right moment, whereas there exists a cosmic dimension, a divine timing, that we are mostly unaware of. His narrative unfurls the power of surrender, trust, and flowing with life while invoking more awe.
His profound insights into the mysteries of life, especially around proposing to his partner and the ensuing spiritual understanding, are sure to leave you pondering. As Amrit puts it, "We are the pinnacle of our ancestors... Here we are, the biggest miracle that ever existed, and somehow the universe is supporting us in our existence."
From dreams and visions to the courage of surrender and the importance of preparedness, this conversation is a treasure trove of wisdom.

Join us for another fascinating episode of "1000 Reasons for Feeling Awe."
This time we turn to the most fundamental yet overlooked reason for awe: our ability to breathe!
Our guest today is the esteemed Dawson Church, Ph.D., researcher and bestselling author, who profoundly discusses the commonality and importance of breath across spiritual traditions and how it connects us to the transcendent state of being.
Yes, you heard it right! The simplest act of breathing, something we do around 26,000 times a day unconsciously, is a pathway to experience awe. Dawson reminds us that as we breathe, we are not only keeping ourselves alive but also creating a connection with the divine and the infinite.
In this episode, you'll also get a chance to immerse yourself in a guided meditation led by Dawson himself. A meditation that takes us into a multisensory experience, bringing us closer to the feeling of awe.
We often search for awe in grandeur, but this conversation redirects us to find it in the everyday simplicity, literally under our noses.
