In this powerful episode of Answer the Call, we dive into the reality of spiritual warfare and what the Bible says about the end times.
We begin by reflecting on the tragic death of Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed while speaking on a college campus in Utah. Whether you agreed with him or not, this was not just politics — this was an attack on life, truth, freedom of speech, and ultimately the Body of Christ. Scripture reminds us: “Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 6:12).
Too many are content to frame these events as political — but the enemy is behind the curtain. We see him. And by the power of Jesus Christ, we are calling him out. “Greater is He that is in you than he who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4).
From there, we turn to what Jesus Himself taught about the last days — the signs, the warnings, and most importantly, the hope of His return. This episode is not about fear or speculation, but about preparation. It’s about “cleaning house” spiritually: removing sin, closing doors to the enemy, and leading our families to walk faithfully with Christ.
💡 In this episode we cover:
Why the events we’re seeing are more than politics — they are spiritual warfare.
What Jesus said about the end times (Matthew 24, Luke 21, 2 Timothy 3, Revelation 21).
The call to “fear not” in Scripture and how to stand firm in faith.
How to prepare your heart and your home for Christ’s return.
Why the end times are not just doom and gloom — but filled with hope, revival, and the promise of Jesus’ appearing.

After a couple of heavier episodes on spiritual warfare, we’re catching our breath with a joyful, Bible-focused conversation on God’s sense of humor and the awkward/funny moments tucked throughout Scripture. From Sarah laughing at God’s promise to Balaam’s talking donkey and Rhoda forgetting to open the door for Peter, these stories remind us that God made laughter, uses irony to teach, and loves working through wonderfully human people.
