Just like physical fruit satisfies and nourishes people, spiritual fruit glorifies and satisfies God (John 15:8).

Being a disciple means learning to follow Christ. As disciples, we are greatly committed to what God is greatly committed to.

God promises to renew, reenergize, and revive His people when they have grown weary. Isaiah 40:28-31 uses a similitude to describe the people of God. He says that they shall mount up with “wings like eagles.”

The battle for your mind is waging every day. Do you know how to defend against it?

Living with an eternal perspective changes how you live and how you give. In his letter to the Philippians, the Apostle Paul encouraged the believers to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus and invest in things that will last for eternity.

Living the abundant life in Jesus requires a kingdom mindset. As kingdom citizens, we navigate life differently because we know this world isn’t our home.

The A-Life means living with a mentality of living “sent.” Jesus commissioned us to go into the world and preach the gospel. Part of living the abundant life in Jesus involves living on mission.

Sanctification is how a believer grows spiritually. It requires the believer to take personal responsibility for spiritual growth. In Philippians 2:12, the Apostle Paul tells his audience to “work out your own salvation.” What does that mean?

In the Book of Philippians, the Apostle Paul tells us to “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” To live the A-Life, we must live with the mind of Christ. But what does that mean?

Keeping unity in the church requires believers to have a heart of humility. In his sermon on the Book of Philippians, Pastor Phil Hopper talks about how humility is essential for fostering unity in the church. Humility fosters unity, which makes the Church an unstoppable force against the enemy. A people united in purpose and in heart are an unstoppable force for the Gospel. Those who lack humility will be driven by insecurity, which leads to jealousy, rivalry, and broken unity.
