There are 440,000 kids in foster care in the US and many waiting for a family. Roswell, New Mexico's population is 50k, to put it into perspective. This is one mom's story of how she got involved in becoming a Foster Parent and adoption of two children to grow her loving family into a household of 6, while supporting her community for other families in need.

We speak with Vicky Derksen, resident of Fountain Hills, Arizona, and volunteer extraordinaire, about her and the volunteering she does for the community.
