Paul pursued his passion for music from an early age and has since made quite a name for himself in the music industry. This week's episode is a bit of a throwback to when I interviewed, artist extraordinaire, Paul Glyn-Williams aka SUMARTIST. He is a Toronto based artisit and if you've been to the 6ix you have definitely seen his work around the city! While I was living in Toronto I would often see his masterpieces and I finally was able to track him down. I knew Paul had to be apart of this series because his passion comes thru in his art and his art not only tells a story but makes a strong statement. His work is circling Instagram like wildfire and in this episode we talk about his journey, his passion for the arts and his voice behind his incredible 'George Floyd' piece.

This week I interviewed Katie Homer. Originally from Chicago, Katie moved to New York with an advertising internship and then was able to pursue her passion of dance as a Performance Artist & Teacher. Over the course of her journey, Katie was led into Cultural Dance and we discuss her unconventional path to success! Katie and I met back in 2017 at Alvin Ailey Dance Studios in New York City when we both joined Masala Bhangra’s performance workshop. As a former dancer I can honestly say that Katie’s talent and presence on stage is unmatched, you will be in awe watching her!

This week I interviewed Rahima Amiraly. Originally from the UK, Rahima has been living in Dubai the last several years and is a special needs teacher. She also is the founder of Rising Stars which is an organization that gives a platform to people of determination to showcase their talent and feel seen and heard. Rahima is on a wonderful mission to bring about awareness to this group of talented individuals and to change the way society views them. We talk about her journey, inclusivity and all the incredible programs she has implemented.

This week I interview Nav Parmar, Assistant Coach of the UNBC Basketball Team, the Timberwolves. We talk about his journey as a coach, mentor and his impact on the community of Prince George and all of British Columbia. Nav and I go way back to the days of Undergrad and over the years I have watched his journey as he has become a household name in the community. He is a wonderful example of what hard work and determination can achieve and this is just beginning. It’s so amazing to see friends doing things that have a positive effect on the world and Nav is doing just that. He is also founder of the Nav Parmar foundation where they help kids of all ages, no matter what their background is, to develop their athletic skills and nurture their talents.

This week I interview Dampy Brar, former professional hockey player, co founder of APNA Hockey and recent winner of the Willie O'Ree Community Hero Award from the NHL. We covered a lot in this very candid interview; from his journey as a hockey player, to the love of the game, his family, the impact that Dampy has had and continues to have on the community and we also discuss the #FarmersProtest happening in India.
