Join me as I chat to Glasgow City & Scotland, Legend - Lee Gibson.
We first spoke on Ep03 in season 1, Lee was one of my first ever guests and for her to come back on for this season I am eternally grateful.
Also a thanks to Zucca Bistro in East Kilbride for allowing us to record in there!
In this episode we pick up were we left off in SE01 EP03 as we head to Sweden, where Lee played for a season before returning back to Glasgow City and to catch the eye of Anna Signuel (then Scotland Manager) pre Euro's. We talk last minute winners, league titles at Ibrox, Scotland & Glasgow City's aspirations for this season.
Lee coasts through the quickfire round until we begin to talk about music, a passion she has that may rival football.
I'd like to wish Lee & her teammates at Glasgow City & Scotland all the best for the season ahead.
Enjoy and have a great weekend.

Hello & Welcome to our 7th EP of SE04 with Motherwell's, Lucy Ronald.
I've known Lucy since she was 10 years old and have been privileged enough to be a part of her journey in life & in football for many years. Join us as we take a genuine wander down memory lane.
From Glasgow City 13's to her 1st Team debut, signing for Hibernian, Captaining Glasgow Women to SWPL2 & plying her trade at the heart of Motherwell's midfield in SWPL1 she's had quite the journey.
One which was on hold due to a dreaded knee injury, but now on the road to recovery both physically & mentally she managed to achieve a goal she has had since kicking the ball off the wall at Lesser Hampden, by playing at Hampden Park in a national cup semi final.
We dance through the quickfire round in which you are going to get a few laughs as well as appreciate her music taste. Lastly we finish off with some solid advice she would give to her younger self.
Once again, thank you for listening.

This episode is a little different from the norm but it hits the spot all the same. Also, check out his music. We will include this on our instagram story, as well as our twitter page.
Take Care & have a great weekend.

Hello & Welcome to the 6 8 or 10 Podcast with me, your Host - Craig Joyce & this weeks guest - Owen Coyle.
Disclaimer - This episode was recorded a few weeks back, we had a break and such is this world of football the timeline & landscape has shifted - especially when we speak about Queen's Park & Owen's Uefa Pro Licence trip to Geneva (which you may have seen via his social media channels).
Let's dive in now we have that part out of the way, we head back to Owen's earliest memories of Football which are naturally with his dad, Owen Snr from when he played football prior to moving into a career in management. We then jump straight to Owen's coaching career (thanks to his uncle Joe's honesty) where he done an apprenticeship before joining the England Amputee Football Association as an assistant and eventually becoming the Head Coach leading them out at International Tournaments and lending a hand in creating a pathway for the grassroots players to then pro clubs.
We then head to Queen's Park were we first met and have stayed in contact ever since. He was a vital part in promoting the Youth players to first team and part of the staff who nearly got Queen's Park to the Premier League.
We then take a detour via his journey on the Uefa Pro Licence with the Scottish FA, and down South to Nottingham Forest as we discuss his role there, as well as personal & player development.
Owen is ever so insightful about the game and his passion for it really does rub off on you and give you a buzz for it.
I've waffled on enough, so I'll let you crack on with this latest episode in Season 4.
Have a great weekend, thanks again for listening.

He then moved onto leading Motherwell into the top 6 in the SWPL1.
His passion is infectious for football and for his own personal development.

This episode is brought to you from the comfort of my living room, and Frazer's office at the Right 2 Dream academy in Ghana.
I've know Frazer since I started working with the Scottish FA well over 10 years ago while he was up and coming at St Mirren.
Like many stories lately we start off in lockdown, we discuss the effects on Frazer personally as well as the staff & players at the academy. We also touch on is childhood growing up watching St Mirren and playing with his local boys club before taking that step into coach.
As a coach he's worked in youth academies as well as a tutor for the Scottish FA, where he continued his personal education and is currently on his UEFA Pro Licence course.
Of course this takes time so we talk balancing this with being technical director at the Right 2 Dream academy as well as working alongside FC Nordsjælland in Denmark providing an alternative path for the youngsters in Ghana.
I'm glad I got the chance to catch up with Frazer and not only hear about his journey abroad but also pick his brains about his values and I.D as a coach.
This is definitely one for anyone thinking of working abroad and further their education in the game.
Take Care

We are back for season 03 in what was possibly the shortest break ever.
HUMBLE > A word used throughout this podcast. Keep it in mind as you listen.
There was no better was to kick off the new season that to have a chat with Scotland International & F.C Rosengård Attacker, Fiona Brown.
I've know Fiona for quite some time and have admired her as not only a footballer but as a person.
Her journey started out as a kid kicking a ball around at Stenhousemuir in their community sessions before moving on to her beloved Celtic. She speaks admirably about the team she joined at Celtic, the friends she made and the desire to get better every session. She also speaks about her coaches at the time Paul Brownlie & Tina Ferguson who are still friends to this day.
At the age of 15 Fiona made her debut for Celtic, an age in which she agrees was maybe too young at the time but enjoyed it. A few years down the line she would move to Champions, Glasgow City.
At City, Fiona was unplayable. Pace, Power, Goals, Assists, Enjoyment, A Threat, Trophies, Injuries & Champions League. Thats the short of her time with Glasgow City.
After returning from a torn ACL, the season after Fiona moved to Sweden with Eskiltuna before moving to F.C Rosengård where she has just returned from another knee injury.
We talk set backs & Injuries as well as advice she would give to her younger self. Her answer blew me away.
We of course talk about Scotland and her pride of pulling on that jersey.

Hello & welcome to the 6, 8 or 10 podcast.
Sadly we are coming to a close on season 2, we have had some incredible guests and stories so far and that will continue on season 3. We pinky promise not to be away for too long this time but we will be taking a short break before getting back to it.
Our guest is this episode is Scotland National Team Manager, Shelley Kerr.
We have a playing & coaching career to talk about so we dive right in and head down memory lane to Shelley's childhood, one which was spent with a ball at her feet. Shelley speaks about her first ever experience in organised football, she was 13 playing in a senior environment. We then move forward to her senior career as a player and how she felt getting her first cap for her country.
We have a little breather to talk about motherhood & spending time out of the game before meeting the challenges head on as she wanted to play again.
Club or Country, it didn't matter Shelley just loved playing football but one this was for sure, she was always going to coach.
We head into her coaching journey which has been incredible when you look back at it. Boys, Girls, Youth, Adult, Professional, Semi Pro, International are just some of the experiences she has had. Throughout this conversation Shelley smiled as she spoke about her life in the game.
Pride, Passion, Student, Honest, Open, Nostalgic, Leader.
Ladies & Gentlemen - Shelley Kerr
Oh, and look out for a duet coming soon haha!

Hello & Welcome to the 6, 8 or 10 Podcast.
Thanks you for joining me as I speak to Mundial's very own, Owen Blackhurst.
I knew in season 1 that I wanted to speak to Owen and I'm delighted we got him on as a guest. His natural storytelling ability is second to none, he's up there with the best. Once you hit play he has you locked in from then on in, hooked. You can find him doing so on Mundial's collaboration and Spotify Original, GIANT. It's a podcast which is in my top 2, it has 7 great episodes which will take you on a journey through the years in football, each one different from the last but it's about Football.
We speak about lockdown and the effects its had on not only himself but Mundial. How are they coping & adapting as a business in such times.
Childhood, he takes us back there and speaks about his first memories and a childhood spent idolising the Liverpool team of the 80s, the kits, the stickers, the players. Barnes, Beardsley & Aldridge.
We also speak about his time coaching and why he got into it. He wouldn't mind being involved again but like everyone, time is of the essence.
He wrote a piece at the start of lockdown, A love letter to passing. You can find it on our twitter page. It's beautiful, it really is and it makes me think back to the enjoyment I had as a kid and as a player. It's an art form which you perfect and there are so many artists we go on to speak about. If we missed out your favourite we do apologise but we could have spent an hour or two just talking about this.
As I mentioned before he is the voice of the award winning podcast, GIANT. We couldn't not speak about this and their ability to tell some unbelievable stories in as a documentary series. My favourite being the Magnificent 7, go check it out. Words can't do it justice.
We finish by speaking about why he loves football. Ask yourself that question and see if you can come up with a definitive answer.
Thanks again for tuning in, Stay Safe.

Hello & Welcome to episode 19, in Season 2 of the 6, 8 or 10 Podcast.
Today I'm joined by friend, Charley King. Charley is the 18's Head Coach at Queens Park & host of his new podcast First Touch Forward.
I've know him for 10 years, that's a third of my life. We met at college in the City Centre of Glasgow while studying Sports Coaching and Development in Sport. I'm delighted he accepted the invitation when I asked him to come on the show.
An obvious topic in recent podcast is lockdown, I speak to him about he and the players are adapting and moving on with it. We also speak about our time together at college and how we feel it helped when moving into the real world.
We then take a trip back to his childhood, somewhere I always like to go with guests to talk about his memories and heroes.
His coaching journey is inspiring, it speaks for itself. He has spent 10 years at Queens Park, which means he should be due a testimonial any time soon. He worked his way from Community Classes to Head Coach of the 18s. An impressive journey, one that he has sacrificed a lot of time too.
A current UEFA A Licence coach, we speak to him about his experiences on the licence courses and the words he has for aspiring young players.
Queens Park is his home, Mr Queens Park as some may see him. He has spent a lot of his time working with the players at the club and developing them for the future, no matter what their future may be.
Hello & Welcome to Season 2, Episode 18 of the 6, 8 or 10 Podcast.
Today I'm joined by travel connoisseur, Host & Producer of smash hit podcast, Blethered - Sean McDonald.
He's open, honest & downright brilliant, as is his shown. Check it out.
I could see the cogs turning when we travel back to his Childhood, one that was spent on the outskirts of London & spending summers in Robroyston, Glasgow. He explains that he would do what he could to fit in down south, he would do anything apart from give up his team, Celtic.
He would never even dream of compromising his love for Celtic & he speaks about them so passionately in this episode, he reminisces as we speak about his heroes, anyone from the Martin O'Neill Era.
We also speak about the special relationship he has with his Grandpa and how they came about venturing to Lisbon to the stadium where Billy McNeill lifted the European Cup in 1967.
We spoke in detail about his move to Barcelona, a place where he went to find motivation after becoming disillusioned at the age of 22. He embraced the City, the culture, the local language and everything else that came with it. In his words, 'It's his home from home'
We touch on travelling and the podcasts in which he is listening to. In terms of movies, we strongly suggest you watch The Gentlemen by Guy Ritchie, Hugh Grant as his finest. Trust us.
