Diaspora Discussions: Is the England Flag intimidating & What's happening in Sudan?

Richie Brave sits down with award-winning journalist, writer and digital content creator Chante Joseph and broadcaster and financial analyst Albie Amankona as they delve into the latest thing that has dominated news headlines the last few weeks: Operation Raise the Colours: where streets, roundabouts and lampposts are being cloaked in the red and white of the St George’s Cross and the Union Jack.

In this show, they discuss their opposing views and answer the question, does the recent wave of raising the England Flag across the country have racist undertones or is it simply a way to showcase English pride?

Separately, this week, we look at the situation that has been unfolding in Sudan. Richie sits down with Sky News Africa Correspondent Yousra Elbagir. Over the past year-plus, she’s regularly returned to a country under siege, bearing witness to devastation, not from afar, but up close and through the very places she once called home. And she's on the show to tell us all about what she's witnessed and reported on.
