Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Unless otherwise indicated, all the names, characters, places, events and incidents in this story are either the product of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. These short stories are only a re-interpretation of the original work done and redone by artistic media in pictorial and written forms many times . I am doing this as a clone of the same in my script & style. For the greater good and to benefit the people at large . ____________________________________________________________ Once upon a time, in a dense forest, there lived a mighty lion. One day, after a satisfying meal, the lion decided to take a nap. He found a shady tree, lay down under it, and soon fell fast asleep. While the lion was sleeping, a little mouse was scurrying around, looking for food. In her search, she accidentally ran across the lion's nose, waking him from his slumber. The lion, being the king of the jungle, was furious at being disturbed. With a loud roar, he placed his massive paw over the tiny mouse, trapping her. "Please, mighty Lion," she squeaked, "let me go! If you spare my life, I promise I will one day repay your kindness. (The rest of the story is about how the mouse helped the Mighty Lion) and about kindness and making friends , no matter how small or weak or big you may be .... Hope You Like it. Thank You Sunil Phillips
