Three Keys To Equality at Home with The "Fair Play" Game with Eve Rodsky
What if equality at home could change everything from our health to our happiness? In this episode, Alita Guillen sits down with Eve Rodsky, Harvard-trained lawyer, New York Times bestselling author, and creator of Fair Play, the system reimagining how couples divide domestic labor.

Eve shares how one “blueberries breakdown” became a turning point that inspired her to treat the home like our most important organization. Together, they unpack the hidden biases and invisible work that leads to burnout, resentment, health issues and a breakdown of a good relationship. Eve lays out a plan so that couples can become proactive by restoring balance, having boundaries, implementing systems, and establishing good communication.

They also talk about Find Your Unicorn Space, Eve’s follow-up to Fair Play, which explores how reclaiming creativity is essential to combating burnout and rediscovering joy.

With humor, heart, and hard data, Eve helps us see that rebalancing our time isn’t just about chores—it’s about equality, identity, and the freedom to thrive.Book:

Whether it’s nodding along with a doctor’s recommendation, going along with your boss, or staying silent in a meeting—most of us are guilty of complying when our gut says to speak up.

From her research on “insinuation anxiety” to her experience as a physician, Dr. Sah explains how to shift from automatic yeses to authentic decision-making so that we may all live true to our values.

She shares her three-question Defiance Compass, reveals how to truly give (or withhold) consent, and offers practical steps to stop performing agreement and start honoring your values.

Courage and Communication For 9-11 Pilot Beverley Bass
Captain Beverly Bass was one of the first female pilots for American Airlines. The Science Behind Truth and Deception with Tim Levine Phd
Do you think you can tell when someone is lying?

Are their eyes shifty, or maybe their body language gives it away? Or maybe those aren’t even the right clues, and you can’t tell at all because of something called the truth-default theory.

Tim Levine, Phd., Distinguished Professor and Chair of Communication Studies at The University of Alabama, Birmingham, is known internationally as a leader in deception research. His book Duped: Truth-Default Theory and the Social Science of Deception explains why we are unable to tell when someone is lying and how to find evidence that gets us closer to the truth. When we communicate with people, honesty is our default. Naturally, Dr.Levine consults for law enforcement and intelligence and counterintelligence workers.

He joins us on this podcast to explain the research and to help us identify honesty and deception.
