Retired OPP Sergeant John Flesher's life suddenly changed in June, 2024 when he was struck from behind by a vehicle while riding his motorcycle. John was left with life altering injuries. Retired Sudbury Detective Sergeant Jordan Buchanan joins 10-5 The Official Podcast of the OPP Association to speak about his service with Sudbury Police and his secondment to OPP GHQ working with the early start up of the Violent Crime Linkage Analysis System, known as the ViCLAS, in the 1990's. Shift workers in high stress jobs such as policing and First Responders typically over time experience low testosterone levels, which can contribute to a number of health concerns including but not limited to depression, fatigue, low libido, increased risk of heart attack and stroke and cancer. Dr. Frank Stechey is a renowned forensic dentist who has been involved in several criminal investigations assisting the Ontario Provincial Police, as well as police services throughout Ontario, Canada and internationally.
