🎙️ Welcome to ZeloCast : Glow with the Flow — where music, meaning, and a whole lot of good vibes come together! 🎶✨

Hosted by The Zelotones, Singapore’s very own passionate, independent band, we’re all about sharing real-life stories, spreading positivity, and championing inclusion for persons with disabilities (PWD).

Meet the crew:

🎸 Zach (bass) – Founder, groove master, and proof that losing sight doesn’t mean losing vision. From navigating blindness in young adulthood to rocking the bass like nobody’s business, Zach’s got wisdom and wicked riffs.

🥁 Alex (drums) – Started on bass, leveled up to drums, now smashing Grade 5 exams like it’s no big deal. Visually impaired since young, Alex’s independence and “why not?” attitude make him a powerhouse on and off stage.

🎤 Zyana (vocals & rhythm guitar) – Our powerhouse vocalist with a heart full of stories and a guitar that never lies. Living with tunnel vision hasn’t stopped her from crafting beautiful arrangements and lighting up any stage.

🎹 Ben (keys) – The “jukebox” pianist with Grade 8 chops, a killer smile, and a life story that redefines resilience. After two serious accidents, Ben’s motto is simple: keep playing, keep glowing.

💪 The Zelotones do it all – music, admin, PR, finances – proving that disability doesn’t define limits. We use our voices (and instruments!) to amplify PWD perspectives, spark conversations, and build a more inclusive Singapore.

Every episode, expect a mix of:

💬 Honest chats about life’s ups and downs

😂 Hilarious band banter

🎶 Behind-the-scenes of our music

💡 Inspiring stories of self-acceptance, family love & community power

Plus, you’ll get to hear how we created our unique sound, including our debut single “Merajuk” (find it on Spotify, YouTube, & Apple Music).

So plug in, press play, and let’s Glow with the Flow together. 🚀 Because in our world, everyone’s got a light worth shining.

🌍✨ Welcome to Zelocast – Glow with the Flow, Episode 8: "Travelling & Exploring"! ✨🌍

Pack your bags (and your sense of humor) because the Zelotones—Zyana, Alex, Zach & Ben— are taking you on a ride full of adventures, laughter, and life lessons. 🚍🎶

The gang kicks things off with a tune about togetherness before diving into the ups, downs, and downright hilarious moments of travelling and exploring—especially from their perspective as persons with disabilities (PWD).

👀 Highlights you can’t miss:

  • Alex’s epic misadventures—from accidentally boarding the wrong bus to hopping into a stranger’s Grab car (oops!) 🚕😂
  • Zach’s journey from shy guy to confident explorer with the help of mobility training and the magic of “mind mapping.” 🗺️
  • The thrill of discovering hidden gems close to home—like a secret bus stop down an unexpected flight of stairs. 🛤️
  • Stories of independence, resilience, and even training up legs strong enough for a good jog. 🏃‍♂️💪

But it’s not just about the laughs—this episode is packed with heart. ❤️ The Zelotones share how travelling (near or far) has shaped their independence, strengthened their bond as a band, and shown them the power of family, community, and friendship.

At the end of the day, “Travelling & Exploring” isn’t just about the places you go—it’s about growing, connecting, and glowing. 🌟

So buckle up, press play, and let’s Glow with the Flow together! 🎧✨
