🎙️ Welcome to ZeloCast : Glow with the Flow — where music, meaning, and a whole lot of good vibes come together! 🎶✨
Hosted by The Zelotones, Singapore’s very own passionate, independent band, we’re all about sharing real-life stories, spreading positivity, and championing inclusion for persons with disabilities (PWD).
Meet the crew:
🎸 Zach (bass) – Founder, groove master, and proof that losing sight doesn’t mean losing vision. From navigating blindness in young adulthood to rocking the bass like nobody’s business, Zach’s got wisdom and wicked riffs.
🥁 Alex (drums) – Started on bass, leveled up to drums, now smashing Grade 5 exams like it’s no big deal. Visually impaired since young, Alex’s independence and “why not?” attitude make him a powerhouse on and off stage.
🎤 Zyana (vocals & rhythm guitar) – Our powerhouse vocalist with a heart full of stories and a guitar that never lies. Living with tunnel vision hasn’t stopped her from crafting beautiful arrangements and lighting up any stage.
🎹 Ben (keys) – The “jukebox” pianist with Grade 8 chops, a killer smile, and a life story that redefines resilience. After two serious accidents, Ben’s motto is simple: keep playing, keep glowing.
💪 The Zelotones do it all – music, admin, PR, finances – proving that disability doesn’t define limits. We use our voices (and instruments!) to amplify PWD perspectives, spark conversations, and build a more inclusive Singapore.
Every episode, expect a mix of:
💬 Honest chats about life’s ups and downs
😂 Hilarious band banter
🎶 Behind-the-scenes of our music
💡 Inspiring stories of self-acceptance, family love & community power
Plus, you’ll get to hear how we created our unique sound, including our debut single “Merajuk” (find it on Spotify, YouTube, & Apple Music).
So plug in, press play, and let’s Glow with the Flow together. 🚀 Because in our world, everyone’s got a light worth shining.

🎙️ Zelocast – Glow with the Flow, Episode 12 is here… and it’s going to be a ride you won’t forget! 🚴♂️✨
This week, we’re hanging out with none other than Steve Tee – Singapore’s very own Paralympian and para-cyclist with the iconic red hair 🔥. He’s bold, he’s funny, and his story will blow you away.
From discovering he had Retinitis Pigmentosa after National Service, to facing the ups and downs of vision loss (including a tough moment when he accidentally bumped into a child and was scolded 😢), Steve opens up about how he turned isolation into motivation. And trust us… once that fire was lit, nothing could stop him. 💪
⚽ From blind football to 🚴♂️ tandem cycling, Steve’s journey took him all the way to the Tokyo Paralympics. You’ll hear what it takes to train 6–9 times a week, the grit behind bouncing back after a tire burst and crash, and the sheer thrill of winning bronze in South Korea by just 0.02 seconds! 🤯🥉
But beyond the medals, Steve’s got a life motto we all need to hear:
👉 “Do not allow disability to disable your abilities.”
Packed with his trademark humor, raw honesty, and unstoppable spirit, this episode is more than a podcast – it’s proof that with passion, discipline, and a whole lot of heart, you can turn any struggle into strength. 🌟
So hit play, get inspired, and remember:
Together we make a difference. Win or lose, we’re still a Champion. 🏆✨
