The death of an employee who rammed his car into the office of a multinational manufacturing company where he was employed for more than 2 decades was absolutely shocking. In a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_Y8Yp5ikw0), which he recorded at 4:30 am, he spoke about the depression and sleepless nights he suffered from what he deemed as blatant sabotage and conspiracy by a group of other employees against him.
Yet a quick Google search of "Kathiresan Kumaresan accident" returned virtually no news about it, at all. How sad.
A Zeidgeist listener, who wishes to remain anonymous, empathised with Kumaresan's plight and shared with us his/her own personal workplace depression story. He/she reckons that the first critical step to handle the problem as a society is to acknowledge the situation and create stronger empathy towards those who suffer from mental conditions.
RIP Kathiresan.
