उनका प्यार मेरी ज़िंदगी, हैं इस बात से वाकिफ;
जो कर देता कभी इज़हार,उन्हें अच्छा नही लगता।
पकड़कर हाथ हमने साथ, लांघी है कई सरहद;
मगर मांगू कभी वो हाथ, उन्हें अच्छा नही लगता।
वो करते हैं दुआ,मेरे सपने साकार होने की;
है वो खुद मेरा सपना, उन्हें अच्छा नही लगता।
कहते फ़र्क किसे पड़ता, मेरे हँसने या रोने से;
जो मैं दो वक्त ना बोलूं, उन्हें अच्छा नही लगता।
काली रात, आधी नींद, ज़िंदा ख़ाब है मेर;
जो बीती रात ना सोऊँ, उन्हें अच्छा नही लगता।
