Talha رضي الله عنه during the reign of the 2 Grand Shaykhs رضي الله عنهم:
Umar رضي الله عنه sees Talha رضي الله عنه visibly upset and asks: “Why do I now see you uncharacteristically unkempt after The Messenger’s ﷺ passing? Is it because your cousin [Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه] has become the Khalif?”. Talha رضي الله عنه replies: “No. I of all the people would not feel this way!”.
Talha رضي الله عنه explains what was bothering him was that The Messenger ﷺ said there is a word that if you recite when you are dying, your soul is removed easily, but Talha رضي الله عنه wasn’t exactly sure what that word was. Umar رضي الله عنه said he knew what it was: La Ila Ha il Allah [سُبْحَانَهُ وتَعَالَى]. Talha رضي الله عنه says you have spoken the truth, it is now as if a huge burden has been lifted off my shoulders.
