Talha رضي الله عنه once led the prayer and after he finished he asked: “O people, I did not confer with you prior. Are you pleased with me leading?”. The people in unison said: “Of course, O selected Companion of The Messenger ﷺ”. Talha رضي الله عنه said: “I heard The Messenger ﷺ say: ‘If a person leads and the people aren’t happy with him, the Salah does not go past the [Imaams] ears’”.
The Salah is to be led according to the weakest amongst us.
The Messenger ﷺ teaches Talha رضي الله عنه how valuable the Fardh are:
Talha رضي الله عنه sees 2 men (رضي الله عنهم) in a dream. One of them passed away a year earlier, he was martyred. The second man passed away a year later, in his bed.
