Debbie hails from Dolphin House and as we like to say born and reared in the flats. From a young age, she was encouraged by Sr Liz to play a positive and active role in her community which she continues to this day. She has for the last 20= years played a central role in helping to move Dolphin House plans in the right direction alongside the Dublin City Council and the other key players in the state agencies.
Dolphin House and Park is a strong, neighbourly and proud community located just off the South Circular Road in Dublin's South Inner City. We are part of the village community of Rialto and have the Canal running alongside us.
Generations of families are living here which is great. The strong community and family ties are vital supports for residents in their daily lives as is necessary for working-class communities like Dolphin House.
The community has shown amazing courage, spirit and innovation over the years and will continue to work, as it has done, to improve the quality of life and opportunities for our residents.
