Alhamdulillah, I was blessed with the honour of being invited as a guest speaker by the Government of Punjab at the Seerah Conference in Alhamra, in collaboration with YES (Youth Empowerment Society).
“How the Prophet ﷺ Empowered the Young Generation.”
🌿 In my lecture, I highlighted how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ empowered youth to become leaders of deen and dunya:
• Responsibility: Entrusting the young with major roles, like Usama ibn Zayd (RA) leading an army at just 17.
• Spiritual Anchoring: Connecting them with Salah, Qur’an, and dua as the foundation of their lives.
• Confidence: Encouraging companions like Ibn Abbas (RA) to ask questions, narrate hadith, and voice their thoughts.
• Vision: Instilling in them the purpose of Akhirah, service to the Ummah, and courage to face challenges.
The Prophet ﷺ didn’t keep youth at the sidelines — he placed them at the centre of the Ummah’s revival. Today, our responsibility is to revive this prophetic model of trust, training, and empowerment for our young generation.
May Allah ﷻ accept, and may He make our youth the torchbearers of faith, integrity, and leadership. 🤲
