Episode 9: Theatre, legacy and finding meaning.

In todays episode I speak with Jonathan Moscone. For over 30 years, he has worked at the cross section of theater and civic engagement.  From 2000-2015, Jonathan served as artistic director of California Shakespeare Theater. He then went on to serve as Chief of Civic Engagement and Producer of Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, From 2020-2023, he served as a Council Member then Executive Director of the California Arts Council, the State’s arts agency. Jonathan received his MFA in Directing from the Yale School of Drama and received the inaugural Zelda Fichandler Award. Jonathan lives in San Francisco with his husband, Darryl Carbonaro, and their cat, Turtle, and dog, Lucy.
