Well, in the wonderful board gaming hobby we have our own set of symbols and pictographs to learn, which we tie together in the neat category of iconography. Icons are everywhere in board gaming, from cards, to the board, and to the rule book, and they are both the bane and boon to those trying to teach games. Please join me as I take a look at uses of icons in board games, and two examples of games that use icons quite a bit, MARVEL UNITED and 7 WONDERS.
