And what does this question mean exactly.... Shouldn't we be with people who validate us? Of course, but is that the only reason? To create a partnership with another human being, a lifelong journey with another person, it takes a lot of different parts and feelings. At the same time, we could enter in such a relationship because our main need seems like it's being met. To the determent of other parts of our life. It can get complex and messy, hopefully self-awareness prevails.
