Joy Marilie Jackson is a native New Yorker with a Master’s Degree in Early Education and over 20 years of experience in the education field. She has worked as a teacher, curriculum developer, instructional coach, school leader and currently as an education consultant. Beyond her work in schools, Joy began studying child development independently, which led her to become passionate about conscious discipline in schools and homes. She began sharing her experience and knowledge on child development and conscious parenting on her social media platforms, where she reaches over 150k followers. Joy has expanded her services to include working with families directly. She offers live and self-paced courses on conscious parenting, and works with families one-on-one as a conscious parenting coach. She specializes in working with families with toddlers, first generation “gentle” or conscious, cycle-breaking parents.
