We don’t even know it yet, but these are our Younger Days. Being far from experts, we want to create a space to share our struggles, lessons, and insights as we figure out how to navigate the world as Gen Z. We’re Fuka and Milena, two recent college grads who want to break the stigma surrounding uncomfortable topics such as healing and personal growth. The only way we can heal is if we get vulnerable. If you like having deep talks with friends, you’re in the right place.

1. Lessons for 2023: Healing [Insecure Attachment Styles] Sucks
In our first episode, we dive right into our lived experiences with having insecure attachment styles (with special focus on anxious attachment and fearful avoidant attachment) and how we are working on healing ourselves. Points were made about childhood trauma, breadcrumbing, and rest and its ties to our healthcare system and capitalism. Consensus: healing sucks and it’s hard and not fun. We still feel like there’s so much left unsaid about such a complex topic. Let us know if you’d want to hear more about our attachment styles or if there’s another topic you’d want to hear about. Here’s where you can find us online: Milena’s Tiktok: @milena.familia Here are some relevant resources we’ve found helpful: Attachment styles: https://www.instagram.com/p/CW4fZ3YlAQG/?igshid=MWI4MTIyMDE= https://www.instagram.com/p/Ce6vA_EIVZP/?igshid=MWI4MTIyMDE= https://www.instagram.com/p/CmcMLisuPD5/?igshid=MWI4MTIyMDE= Trauma and relationships: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CmHO4CLMpwQ/?igshid=MWI4MTIyMDE= Rest is restorative: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CllsEdag0kK/?igshid=MWI4MTIyMDE= Trauma and relationships: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CmHO4CLMpwQ/?igshid=MWI4MTIyMDE= *P.S. a correction on our terminology– disorganized attachment style is also known as fearful avoidant, whereas insecure should be the term used when referencing any other attachment style besides secure attachment style.
