
In this episode Holly and Rebecca chat with researcher, educator and violinist Clarke Randolph about her research ‘Still We Rise: Racial Discriminatory Resilience and Black American Musicians’. We explore what motivated her research interests and her experiences as a Black classical musician in the UK. Clarke explains how important it is to illuminate the histories and culture of Black American music, as well how musical joy can be a form of resilience.
