Chad Hennings is a former NFL defensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys and the Air Force Academy. Chad declared for the 1988 NFL draft despite having an obligation to serve in the Air Force. Chad was drafted in the 11th round by the Dallas Cowboys and played for the team from 1992 to 2000 - winning 3 Super Bowls in that time.

After football, Hennings released a book titled Rules of Engagement: Finding Friendship, Faith, and Strength in a Disconnected World which was published in 2009.
