You might recognize @carolineszwedfrom her time as an on-air personality with #Sportsnet, but her story starts way back on the field. A former national team player, Caroline represented Canada in the 2008 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup and earned back-to-back Canadian Player of the Year nominations.
Her talent earned her a spot to play Division 1 soccer at #WestVirginiaUniversity, but a devastating knee injury during her time there led to three surgeries, ultimately ending her athletic career.
Instead of staying sidelined, Caroline pivoted—turning her passion for football into a thriving platform. Now with 600k+ followers, international brand deals and dubbing herself a Professional Football Yapper, her knowledge, passion and love for the game have built something bigger than just the pitch—a community that shares her passion for football.
This week, Caroline’s bringing her story to the mic. From resilience to reinvention, she’s living proof that even when life throws you a curve, you can still find your own net. Trust us, you’ll want to hear this one.
