Mike Severns (@HungryRealtor) and Marc Fumo (@FoodwithFoom) met in 7th grade and have been friends ever since. Marc's appreciation for food rubbed off on Mike immediately. You see, Mike's family was from Kensington while Marc was from South Philly. The food in each neighborhood was very different. Mike ended up at Marc's house almost as much as his own for dinner because, as Mike would later joke, his stomach is Italian. Through the years they became like brothers, sharing in each other successes and failures. Both worked in delis as kids, teens, and young adults. Always knowing they had each other's backs. Now, out of the food business, over forty and with families - they still are there for each other. Looking for an excuse to goof off together, like in the old days, the dream of a podcast started to hatch. They went back and forth for what seemed like years until they had an idea they thought would be both fun to do and interesting enough that people would watch/listen. Thus, Yo, Eat This! was born!
