While some foundational knowledge is recommended for each yoga class (mountain pose, downward facing dog, happy baby, etc.), there's no such thing as “doing a pose wrong.” Feel yourself encouraged to wander off and explore. Hey Yogis! Feeling some nervous energy this morning? This yoga to calm down class is a simple and sweet slow-flow practice designed to help you slow the breath and calm the mind.

We'll start with focused breath work and then move into some soft movement to get our blood flowing while keeping the heart rate slow and steady. It's the perfect gentle start to a busy day.

Here's a preview of the yoga class ahead:

  1. Alternate Nostril Breathing
  2. Gentle Neck Rolls
  3. Seated Side Body Stretch
  4. Cat/Cow
  5. Standing Side Body Stretch
  6. Wide Legged Forward Fold
  7. Yogi Squat
  8. Feel Flow (Cool Down)
  9. Box Breathing (4, 4, 4, 4)
