Welcome to the Yello Yoga Podclass! I'm your host, Kelly. My intention for Yello Yoga is to provide yoga classes for yogis who want to connect to the breath without connecting to a screen. While some foundational knowledge is recommended for each yoga class (mountain pose, downward facing dog, happy baby, etc.), there's no such thing as “doing a pose wrong.” Feel yourself encouraged to wander off and explore. That's where the magic happens and that's why audio yoga is so magical. Thanks for listening! Namaste.

Yoga for Heart Opening and Connecting to Purpose | Air | Element Yoga Series

As part of our elements series, this vinyasa yoga class is inspired by the powerful element of air and includes powerful breath work, heart opening, and leg strengthening exercises.

The air element is associated with the heart chakra and our sense of touch. Often thought of as the place where the soul abides, the heart also contains our life energy (an important key to our purpose in life perhaps).

Associated with love, freedom, openness, mobility, positivity, and intellect,

  • An underactive air element can lead to feeling bored, apathetic, sluggish, and unable to give or receive love
  • An overactive air element can lead to feeling ungrounded, feeling lost or floaty, and incessant thinking (without the ability to turn thoughts into action)
  • A balanced air element leads to freely giving and receiving love and feeling light, open, motivated, innovated, and mentally agile.

This vinyasa yoga class is designed to help balance the air element in all of us. We'll focus on the breath and the heart and mix both together in a dynamic, free flowing yoga class.

Here's a preview of the audio yoga class ahead

  1. Alternate Nostril Breathing
  2. Seated Side Bend
  3. Cat and Cow
  4. Low Crescent Lunge
  5. Gate Pose
  6. Half Sun Salutations (Breath and Heart Focused)
  7. Dynamic Warrior 2
  8. Humble Warrior
  9. Free Flow (Cool Down)
  10. Savasana

And a list of reasons you may want to join this yoga class:

  1. Vinyasa Yoga for Heart Opening
  2. Vinyasa Yoga with Breath Work
  3. Vinyasa Yoga for Leg Strength
  4. Vinyasa Yoga for When You're Stuck
  5. Vinyasa Yoga for Calming the Mind
  6. Vinyasa Yoga for Anxiety
  7. Vinyasa Yoga for Air Signs
  8. Vinyasa Yoga for Heart Chakra

This fun, meaningful practice will revitalize your body and spirit.
