In February of 2019, we found a huge discrepancy between what we were doing and what we wanted to do. We made a list of what we wanted to do and who we wanted to be over the next 12 months only to find that it had nothing to do with our current jobs and day to day grind.
A few months later, we had booked a one-way ticket to Colombia, on a mission to spend 2020 traveling the world all while generating income. We're so excited about this experiment that we want to bring you, our readers, along with us so we can share the tips, tricks, and insights that we learn along the way.

In episode 11, Abhi and Gabrielle are joined by Sofia Lindman, an inspiring digital nomad who has always believed in going against the status quo and creating her own path.
Join us as we discuss female empowerment, the uncomfortable nature of change, and the mindset needed to disrupt yourself. Sofia discusses how she knew she wasn't destined for a "normal life" as well as the experiences and challenges she faced in order to create that life for herself.
Sofia has never held a traditional 9-5. At the age of 15, Sofia dropped out of school to pursue a mission of starting rap choirs for girls to inspire female empowerment in the rap music industry. She then went on to found a company called GeniusRAP, which has been supported by Timbuktu and Wu-Tang Clan.
Her early entry into entrepreneurship exposed her to the location-independent lifestyle. After this incredible experience, she knew she wanted to continue living as a digital nomad and inspire others to do the same.
