Time for episode two! I really enjoyed making the first episode, and now that I'm getting used to the process of podcasting, I loved making this one even more. 

So let's talk teen fiction. In episode two, 'First Page Mistakes', we're talking about how to hook your ideal reader from the very first line of your novel. The first page is the most important page. It tells the reader exactly what they're in for, and helps them decide whether or not to read your book -- so you'd better make a great first impression. 

Today, I'll warn you against some common first page mistakes, and advise on what to do instead. :)
