The Interviews #3 - WWE Costume Designer Mikaze (2017)
Here's another in our new series - WPAN: The Interviews! With WrestleMania this weekend, we're going to hear from one of the busiest guys this time of year, former wrestler and current WWE gear maker Mikaze!
FROM 2017: Pro wrestler "The Kingpin" Brian Milonas and referee Mike Crockett are talking shop with an old friend who made wrestling gear for Milonas back in the day - and now he's making it for the Superstars of WWE! Mikaze (@IAmMikaze) is a pro wrestler out of New England who's currently on an extended hiatus as he pursues his other dream as a costume designer. We discuss his stints in Chaotic Wrestling and Ring Of Honor, his match on RAW with Ryback and the bout in NXT that ended with him being knocked out cold. Find out how a high school sewing class started Mikaze on a path to making gear for WrestleMania! Plus, tons of insight on Sasha Banks' gear, collaborating with talent, seeing his designs on a Barbie, making something for a McMahon, being a part of Up Up Down Down, taking his work home with him and so much more!
