
As a kid, Ty Swadling had his sights set on representing Australia in Football. A trip to the 2000 Olympic Games however changed the course of his life forever. The then 12-year-old Novocastrian would go onto become one of Australia’s greatest trampolinists. Now 34, Swadling has taken a step back from the sport he loves, regularly attending his club to help give back to the sport that gave him so much.
I sat down with Ty to discuss the highs and lows of his 17 year career at the highest level.
