The prices for Paris’ much loved and hated bike-sharing system Vélib have gone up drastically, with some subscriptions being 38% more expensive than before. Under mayor Anne Hidalgo, Paris is rapidly turning into a real biking city, but do Parisians accept the new price they have to pay for it? Reporting from a Vélib' station in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, host Kamiel Vermeulen asks locals about their frustration with broken bikes, the new prices and whether they are considering switching to a personal bike.
