We had the privilege and opportunity to sit down with Andrew Larsen, owner of Further North Lures. Andrew, a native of the Pacific Northwest cut his teeth fishing the coastal waters of Oregon beginning a lifelong obsession with fishing for anadromous and saltwater species, Andrew was a guide in Alaska for Salmon, sport ground fish and halibut. Andrew has designed and manufactured his unique lures to fish the rivers of the PNW for salmon and steelhead, the Twerk, a modification of a round bill crankbait and the Felon a spinning lure have been his trademark lures, Andrew is also passionate about fisheries conservation and revitalization, specifically Columbia River summer Chinook affectionately known as June hogs.
