Chaeli was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at 11 months old, however instead of allowing it to dictate how she lives her life; she decided to use her disability as a way to create change in the lives of other people living with disabilities. She began as an “ability activist” by co-founding The Chaeli Campaign in 2004 at just nine years old. We talked to Chaeli about how she has dealt with growing up with her disability, dealing with daily life and tackling challenges that most able bodied people would struggle with!
