How does God speak to you?
How do you imagine angels’ appearance? Why? Whenever angels appear in the Bible, they say, “Don’t be afraid!” What do you think is fearful about their appearance and presence?
Why do you think Zechariah doubted the angel’s message?
Why do you think the angel didn’t visit Elizabeth?
Why do you think Mary’s response to the angel was viewed as simple confusion rather than disbelief?
The Bible never tells us why Mary was favored and chosen by God to be Jesus’ mother. Why do you think she was favored and chosen?
What do you think Elizabeth and Mary did and talked about during the three months they spent together?
