There are many in today's world who are of the opinion that God is slack concerning His promises. They believe that long-standing promises and predictions in scripture ought to have been fulfilled by now if God were not slack. Today's Daily Devotional examines this matter and points out why people who hold this opinion, referred to as scoffers in scripture, are very far from the truth. The Devotional affirms that it is not possible for God to lie or to fail in fulfilling His promises.
