Woo Woo in The Real World
Becki Davis & Tami McCarthy

Woo Woo in The Real World is a show that focuses on how we coax our soul into embodied action and cultivate joy. This could be through working with a healer, performing a ritual, reading tarot, consulting an astrologer, communing with nature, writing a song, writing a one-woman show, or just slowing down and taking a bath! The ways we woo are as varied as the humans on the earth and how we’re transformed by those experiences and integrate them into the real world is as unique as a fingerprint. Hosts Tami McCarthy & Becki Davis are on a mission to normalize woo-woo experiences of spirit so that more people will tap into and trust their inner wisdom. They believe that sharing stories is one way to do that. Frederick Buechner says it best in his memoir, Telling Secrets: “My story is important not because it is mine, God knows, but because if I tell it anything like right, the chances are you will recognize that in many ways it is also yours.” We’re more alike than we are different. Perhaps a little more Woo Woo in The Real World can help us move past fear and better connect to ourselves and to those around us so that we can do our part to help heal the world.

SPARKLING in New Spaces with 5ivefingaz
There are no coincidences. After we wrapped last season and took SPARK to the Bethany Arts Community for its live debut, it was clear that for all of us involved, the experience changed us forever, and a new Sisterhood was born. Would there be another run? There was an outpouring of support, but the Bethany was booked until spring. Then as luck would have it, in late September, when a friend heard of Tami’s search to find a new venue for SPARK, she invited her to meet 5ivefingaz, a well-know graffiti artist and muralist. BOOM! The synchronicity of that meeting was electric, and SPARK will have a weekend of performances at Art Monster Studio, 5ive’s personal studio and performance venue. He joins Tami and Becki for this episode where you’ll hear first hand how divine intervention has played a big role in his life growing up, and finding his way to his identity as an artist. He’s also the creator of LOVE MORE THAN EVER, an art movement that aims to end hate and spread messages of love and acceptance, and he spends time cultivating young and emerging artists, among other creative endeavors. Hear about 5ive’s journey, his very own SPARK moments, and just how perfect his studio is for our next run of shows in November!   ⚡️💖⚡️💖⚡️💖⚡️💖⚡️💖⚡️💖⚡️💖⚡️💖⚡️💖⚡️💖⚡️💖⚡️💖   In July (2024) SPARK, a transformative theatrical experience of personal stories, movement, and soul-stirring music created and produced by Tami, hit the stage and sold out shows. Told through the voices of 10 women, SPARK delves into themes of identity, loss, love, and growth. It reveals true life-changing moments were divine intervention or instinct takes control, leading to a spark that nurtures the spirit and lights the path ahead.    SPARK is hitting the stage one more time in 2024 November 1, 2, and 3.
