Woo Woo in The Real World is a show that focuses on how we coax our soul into embodied action and cultivate joy. This could be through working with a healer, performing a ritual, reading tarot, consulting an astrologer, communing with nature, writing a song, writing a one-woman show, or just slowing down and taking a bath! The ways we woo are as varied as the humans on the earth and how we’re transformed by those experiences and integrate them into the real world is as unique as a fingerprint.
Hosts Tami McCarthy & Becki Davis are on a mission to normalize woo-woo experiences of spirit so that more people will tap into and trust their inner wisdom. They believe that sharing stories is one way to do that.
Frederick Buechner says it best in his memoir, Telling Secrets: “My story is important not because it is mine, God knows, but because if I tell it anything like right, the chances are you will recognize that in many ways it is also yours.”
We’re more alike than we are different. Perhaps a little more Woo Woo in The Real World can help us move past fear and better connect to ourselves and to those around us so that we can do our part to help heal the world.
