Woo Woo in The Real World

Woo Woo in The Real World is a show that focuses on how we coax our soul into embodied action and cultivate joy. This could be through working with a healer, performing a ritual, reading tarot, consulting an astrologer, communing with nature, writing a song, writing a one-woman show, or just slowing down and taking a bath! The ways we woo are as varied as the humans on the earth and how we’re transformed by those experiences and integrate them into the real world is as unique as a fingerprint. Hosts Tami McCarthy & Becki Davis are on a mission to normalize woo-woo experiences of spirit so that more people will tap into and trust their inner wisdom. They believe that sharing stories is one way to do that. Frederick Buechner says it best in his memoir, Telling Secrets: “My story is important not because it is mine, God knows, but because if I tell it anything like right, the chances are you will recognize that in many ways it is also yours.” We’re more alike than we are different. Perhaps a little more Woo Woo in The Real World can help us move past fear and better connect to ourselves and to those around us so that we can do our part to help heal the world.

Air: Using Your Voice for Your Soul’s Truthful Expression
It doesn’t matter if you're singing or speaking, “The voice is the soul’s dynamic life urge for truthful expression,” says today’s guest Maryn Azoff.  Maryn is a singer, vocal transformation coach, spirit lifter, soul emancipator, and fear crusher. She’s on a mission to connect people with their vocal power and runs Vocal Transformation retreats and workshops all over the world. Today we’re talking about how the chanting rituals embedded in the Vocal Transformation model connect people to the power of their voice in all of the areas we use it. In this episode we’re specifically looking at rituals through the element of air, the very thing we breathe and the thing that’s necessary for us to vocalize in anyway. You don’t want to miss this insightful conversation and be sure to join us in a mini-practice that can help you harness the power of your voice!  xo Tami & Becki    Maryn's Links!
